The water was cold, even for Kai.
Well, it was indoors, but we had ribs, corn on the cob, cole slaw, and baked beans. Yum!
My dad's birthday is this week. My wife made made the birthday cake out of Jell-O and pound cake, and topped it with home-made whipped cream and strawberries and blueberries to give it the patriotic look on Memorial Day.

Looks so fun! Being on the water, even if it's cold is still nice! That meal sounds wonderful. I haven't had breakfast yet! You had all of my favorites! ha.

We had a nice picnic on the beach... after this winter, it was great just to get out in the sun.

I know your family had a nice time. The birthday cake was nicely themed. Your father seems to have really enjoyed himself. I hope he is doing well. I can see how much Kai is really growing. Barbecue is always the ticket to bringing to close, a fun day with family. Very nice.
