We also had delicious peach juice. Japanese fruit juices are the best!
And then we took the crowded subway across to the other side of Tokyo to go to the mall next to the Tokyo Skytree. Kai wanted to go to the Pokemon Center there.
As at the Pokémon Store in Tokyo Center, Kai was very excited to check out the selection of Pokémon plushes.
We went to a restaurant in the mall, Tenryu, that is known for their giant gyoza.
As Kai loves gyoza, this was a perfect place for him.
We had originally planned to do another activity and stay out all day. But as we had big plans for the evening, we wanted Kai to be happy so we decided to go back to the apartment to give him a break before heading out again later.
The train ride back to the apartment was about an hour, and we were all feeling tired as our body clocks have not yet fully adjusted to being in Japan.
The activities in the later part of the day will be covered in a separate post.
